SRUSTI has been working on health issues concerning the most marginalised in inaccssible areas of Orissa, both on programme delivery & policy changes
MOTHER NGO PROGRAMME: SRUSTI augments reproductive health services in the most under served Sub Centres of Nuapada district. Currently , it is working with the government, UNICEF & White Ribbon Alliance on MaPeDIR( Maternal & Perinatal Death Inquiry Response) which points out the critical gaps in all maternal death cases of Nuapada district.
SOCIAL MARKETING OF LOW COST SANITARY NAPKINS: As a part of its commitment to adoloscent , it promotes low cost sanitary napkins through social marketing. Each of our good quality & imported pads costs only Rs. 1.66 paise to the consumer. These are marketed through the Saathi Centres & ASHAs.
